This year has seen many problems with letters to Romania not arriving. Mail theft or mail just destroyed? I do not know why, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to get QSL cards to Romania.
If you have requested a QSL from me that has not arrived be assured that ALL QSL cards are posted 100%. Please contact me with the details, I will do everything I can to get the QSL to you, but be aware that posting mail to Romania some mail is not getting through and this is beyond my control!

Great to see VK0EK DXpedition to Heard Island feature on the front cover of the October 2016 edition of QST magazine.
As QSL manager I was very proud to work with this team. The challenges of QSL duties on a major DXpedition are numerous, probably the most time consuming are researching busted call inquiries and monitoring the logs for any problems. Luckily i was able to work with some top IT guys on this project and it all went remarkably well.
You can of course still claim your VK0EK QSL card on our OQRS.

Responsible Bureau QSL'ing
Please do not send us any QSL's or replies through the bureau this is not required. It will however add extra work and costs. Please use OQRS only. Thank you

As promised, once we received the laptops back from Heard Island, we would reconcile all laptops with the master N1MM+ log, and more than 100 QSO’s have been recovered. We hope you were the lucky one – and if you have any questions – please contact our QSL Manager, Tim, M0URX: https://vk0ek.org/qsl/
We would like to thank Pete, W6OP, and Mike, KJ4Z for their most excellent efforts finding and recovering these QSO’s. The majority were recovered from a failed laptop that did not sync with the N1MM+ Master log.
Recovered QSOs have been uploaded to OQRS http://www.m0urx.com/oqrs/logsearch.php
And they have also been uploaded to LoTW as well.

The Perseverance DX Group (PDXG) and the United Radio QSL Management Bureau, owned and operated by Tim Beaumont M0URX, have entered into an exclusive relationship for United Radio and its partner M0OXO Online QSL Request Service operated by Charles Wilmott M0OXO to use PDXG’s QSL Management System. Current, future and legacy call signs supported by these firms are included in the agreement.
Initially intended for our own use we decided to make the application available to the DX community supported by the United Radio / M0OXO services. This fully integrated cloud based application allows authorized users around the world access to a host of QSL management functions. By dramatically simplifying and automating the process a QSL manager’s workload and time commitment are significantly reduced.
To DXers the application presents the familiar functions of Log Search and OQRS. Busted Call and Not in Log inquires are handled by an integrated (form) process that greatly reduces the need for e-mails. The application integrates PayPal donor information with logged QSOs to recognize those who supported the DX-pedition for expedited confirmation handling. Address and QSL card label management functions are seamlessly integrated for ease of use.
Under development for 2 years, the application was introduced during the TX3X Chesterfield Islands DX-pedition. Many enhancements were added since TX3X.
To date, Tim has loaded the logs for 140 DX stations, over 2 million QSOs, Charles will soon begin uploading 150 logs. User feedback has been very positive.
Questions may be directed to Pista HA5AO or Gene K5GS at their QRZ.com address.

The QSL card has been designed for ZB2TT, Robert (also M0TTT) in Gibraltar, many of you have been working Robert since he got the new call sign on June 16th. At this time Robert is using a simple set up of a Yaesu FT-450D and a Buddipole antenna with some quite remarkable results so far. Robert says that he hopes to build the station up and hopes to be working you all soon.
QSL cards will be ready to post in August and logs are regularly uploaded to LoTW, we remind you that Rob may sign as ZB2TT or ZB2TT/P so please be sure you log correctly. Another QSL design by Max, ON5UR.
